Prospective Registry of Shear Wave Elastography for the Pancreas Using Endoscopic Ultrasound

What is the Purpose of this Study?

Primary objective: The primary objective is to obtain preliminary estimates of safety and feasibility of shear wave EUS. Safety will be evaluated by complications, if any, from the procedure. Shear wave is expected to be a low risk procedure so an adverse effect of less than 1% would be considered acceptable. Feasibility is defined as proportion of successful SWV measurements of the pancreas. Secondary objective: The secondary objective is to evaluate the reproducibility of SWV in various segments of the pancreas. (Kappa value or deviations from the mean or standard deviation).
