The study involves conducting a comprehensive assessment of healthy aging status for each participating adult. This assessment includes evaluating dietary, physical activity, and biochemical status in relation to measures of heart, blood vessel, and brain function that will be repeated twice within 3 years to understand patterns of change over time. As a part of the study, you will complete questionnaires, various clinical assessments, and a blood draw (approximately 8 teaspoons). Another purpose of this study is for researchers to learn if a biomarker test is helpful in determining whether or not there may be some underlying inflammatory or other biochemical stressors related to a predisposition for developing an age-related disease process.
